Edenbridge plays symphonic metal with a lot of keyboards and orchestration. Once again they use the Czech Film Orchestra, which adds a lot of great atmosphere and ambience to the songs. The songs on the album are melodic and densely layered. They are at their best when they stay within the symphonic metal genre and don't venture too far into power metal territory.
Sabine Edelsbacher has crystal clear voice with a great tone. She showcases some power, but usually uses different textures and emotions to sell the songs. My Earth Dream has well crafted songs and good musicianship, and Edenbridge shows they are one of the mainstays of symphonic metal.
