Blinded By Faith - Imperial Collapse: Live In Quebec CityGaly Records
The songs for this live CD were recorded back in July of 2005 at L'Imperial in Quebec, Canada. Most of them are from Blinded By Faith's 2003 CD Under An Occult Sun, along with a couple from their upcoming album Weapons Of Mass Distraction.

The audio quality on Imperial Collapse: Live In Quebec City is excellent. It was mixed and mastered by producer Yannick St. Amand (Neuraxis, Despised Icon, Beneath The Massacre.) Blinded By Faith plays symphonic black metal with a lot of piano and synths along with a double guitar attack and raspy vocals. It's a very melodic and accessible style of black metal.

If you liked Under An Occult Sun you'll like this album. The arrangements of the songs haven't really changed much from the CD to the live CD. Fans of the band will appreciate it, but it won't draw in a huge number of new listeners.
