This is the second full-length CD from former The Crown vocalist Johan Lindstrand's new band One Man Army and The Undead Quartet. Impious guitarist Valle Adzic is no longer a band member (he played bass on the last album), but he engineered and mixed this album.
Error In Evolution is pretty similar to last year's 21st Century Killing Machine,, but it's a slight step forward. The band mixes old school thrash with melodic death, and the songs are really catchy. There are some killer riffs and excellent guitar solos, and Lindstrand's harsh thrash style vocals are very effective.
One Man Army and The Undead Quartet don't take themselves too seriously, with chants of "K-I-S-S" in one of the songs, and a cover of the Alice Cooper song "He's Back (The Man Behind The Mask)." Error In Evolution isn't groundbreaking, but it is a very enjoyable listen.
