- Q. Are you looking for additional writers for the site?
- A. Yes. If you're interested in writing for heavymetal.about.com, send me an email with your experience, a writing sample and what genre or genres you're interested in covering. We need writers to write reviews, band profiles, genre histories and many other types of content.
- Q. Can I send you a heavy metal CD, DVD or book for review on the site?
- A. Yes! Just send me an email with details on your project, and I'll let you know the shipping address. Because of the volume of material received, everything cannot be reviewed, but it will be considered for review.
- Q. What's the best way to get my CD reviewed on this site?
- A. Because we receive so many CDs for review, unsigned bands and demos most likely won't be reviewed. CDs that arrive after their release dates are less likely to be reviewed. We like to publish CD reviews on or shortly before their release dates, and generally don't have the time or resources to go back and catch up with older releases.
- Q. Will you interview my band?
- A. Interviews are generally set up through record labels or pr companies that I work with on a regular basis, and not directly with bands.
